‘Murad Merali Exposed’ by Alan C Smith

internet iconoclasts infer all
lies (BLM) cleverly monetized
told to those most often fetishized – black
folk – these cyber charlatans collect likes
entice follows seek media dominion
feign allyship in virtual environs
with mavens of culture copied worldwide
afro-femmes of brown honey glazed hues
beige cocoa cinnamon varieties
lime green eye-shaded zeitgeist goddesses
aching to be seen in their radiance
but queens pay heed to your own deities
all skinfolk ain’t kinfolk all POC
can’t identify with the life you see
